Visit by the Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology)

On October 16th, 2014, Minister Holder was welcomed for a visit to the Donnelly Centre by members of the Toronto Recombinant Antibody Centre (TRAC) and the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine Dean’s Office. He was given a tour of the TRAC laboratory by Dr. Christine Misquitta (CCAB VP – Administration and Communications) and observed demonstrations of the technology and high-throughput equipment used in the production of synthetic antibodies led by graduate students Pankaj Garg, Max London, and Isabel Leung and technician Megan McLaughlin. An update on TRAC success was given by Dr. James Pan (CCAB Vice President – Product Development) and collaborating scientist Dr. Benjamin Neel.
