Christine leads the general administration and communications activities for CCAB. This includes the writing of large scale funding proposals and their management once awarded, and other reporting functions. In this role, she is also the primary liaison with government, industry, partners, and other academic organizations. Christine coordinates outreach events and media on behalf of CCAB for both the scientific community and general public.
Christine has managed the financial and human resource functions at TRAC and the Sidhu academic lab for the past several years. This includes Programs funded by the Ontario Research Fund, Genome Canada, Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, and National Institutes of Health.
Prior to joining TRAC and CCAB, Christine was a postdoctoral fellow and research associate at the University of Toronto. Christine obtained her PhD in Molecular Biology from McMaster University.
